is it just me or are there a lot of mediums lately

These mediums somehow wind up more difficult than hard/expert to me... No idea why this is the case

because mediums are the hardest.

it's a well established fact.

it may be to do with that on a medium you are more determined to do it without greens

I think that's it... While on a hard/expert, I'm willing to put greens in much earlier

but it's weird because i find i need greens less on hards than on mediums

it's possible that the difficulty of the various techniques you need to solve any given grid are ranked a certain way, but not everyone's brain finds the same things difficult
