Just used one green when I came to a choice.

What did you use the one green for?

To mark a guess?

When I was unsure of a number (choice to make), I made an assumption with a green number and followed it along.

And subsequent to the green mark, the others were regular big numbers?

Yes, until I was successful... or not. If not, I went back and put a black number in where I had put a green, saved, and went on.

That's clever. Sometimes I forget my guesses.

I find the difficulty categories bewildering. Today's puzzle was much easier than some of the Mediums we've had recently.

i understand.. i do that myself sometimes, particularly if i have to rush. funny, when i first started i wondered about these poor pathetic souls who chatted, and now I'm deep in it myself and it's a nice group, isn't it?

just haven't felt really chatty - i've been having trouble sleeping, due to night sweats, finally went to specialist - got on hormones (flashes & sweats gone, yay!), sleeping pills & anti-depressants

hey, better living through modern medicine. sometimes it's necessary, and you've been through a lot too. glad it works for you
