it's just, my supervisor at work (and i'm leaving in a few weeks, so like, i ought not to care any more, but...)

but... sometimes people like that just know how to push your buttons?

i'm not allowed to forget anything, ever. if i forget to move things from current to previous folders 10% of the time, i'm "very remiss"

even though, it's so stupid, because she's the only one besides me who looks in the folders, and she knows what's previous - if she didn't, she wouldn't be able to nag me about it

yeah, it was like that at my work too. No mistakes allowed. No humans involved, apparently.

woot, I actually did it... toughie today!

and it's not like she never forgets anything - i know, because i sometimes come across things she has forgotten. it's just, i tell her about it NICELY.

so, basically, you are a great worker and a much nicer person than she... scr*w her.

there's nobody to yell at her for her forgettings. and then today i pointed out the simple psychological fact that she never notices when i DO remember to do stuff. and she says, that's because i don't see it, so i don't have to say anything. (which was my point). she said "no news is good news"

that makes her a very lousy supervisor. Any basic supervising training would tell her just that.

and i felt like saying, "yeah, and i know how much you love it when all the things you do right get no acknowledgement from your superiors, and they don't put you in the brochure for the company because they don't recognize how much you do for them...

that would have been correct, lol

cause i know she hates that.

and it really is not fair, she ought to be in the brochure.

it's like living with my mom all over again. you forgot to shut the curtains, you forgot to open the curtains, why didn't you open the dishwasher when the cycle finished so the dishes could dry better, why didn't you start some dinner, why DID you start some dinner, i was planning on having something else...

i dunno... i don't think it does unless you had a period in between where you were sure that you were or were not a recidivist.

and if you were sure that you were, and now you're not sure, then you ARE, and if you're smart you realized that in about a nanosecond which makes it so short a time that i don't know if it counts, meaning you are not a recidivist after all... and you're stuck in a repeating time loop.

if you were sure that you were NOT, then you're not in as much trouble.
