I just completed yesterdays expert(easy). Now for todays so called easy.Go.

Sorry ULH I found that expert absolutely easy, must be how my brain works yet I really struggled with today's so called easy.

i have long suspected there was a link between brain function and puzzle difficulty

she's right though, that is the second expert i've done without even greens. unike, if there is one square you feel would sort of, break things open for you, tell me which row and column it is that you want to know about, and i will concoct you a SDCHC

Difficulty score for yesterday's expert, 48. I had to restart, but eventually got it with a couple xy chains.

Today's difficulty score, 28.

Congratulations to hurshy who did it without even greens. I had to use both even and odd greens :)

And for all who wondered if yesterday's puzzle really was an expert, yes! It required an advanced technique (xy chains). It could not be solved with the basic techniques of cross-hatching, missing digit scan, virtual cross-hatching or tuples analysis.

ahhh...FINALLY got todays done without greens...although i had to leave the puzzle out of frustration several times throughout the day!
