Wow, I just surprised myself. I finished yesterday's puzzle this morning - with logic, not guessing! I "stared at the twos" like people were discussing yesterday, and later used the exact same trick on the sevens. But now I'm wondering if I had made a lucky error in there somewhere.

dr who, we had a question yesterday after you left. me and some other person i forgot who it was ;)

we wondered about the difficulty ratings ... say you rated something difficulty 56, what does that mean exactly? what is the highest difficulty rating there is?

Old jokes and questions, I like.

I suppose the difficulty rating could go as high as 640 on a puzzle with a unique solution, but I doubt it ever would.

I prefer Feldbauer: the level of difficulty is in direct proportion to the number of distractions, times 3. That is to say, 27
