Disclaimer: although it is theoretically possible to solve this puzzle by cross-hatching the blocks with no other technique, it is not necessarily the most efficient method of solving this puzzle. It is certainly not how I solved it.

Considering I rarely actually solve anything using only the methods you mention in chat, I'd hardly call what you do spoiling, Doc. I appreciate the difficulty warning, so I know what I'm getting into :)

Seriously, the Difficulty rating at the top of the puzzle (Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert) gives away the techniques needed to solve the puzzles anyway, so I really don't need to anything about it.
