Thank you, Penguin and KnightTime for your thoughtful comments on ..outside sudoku.. puzzles. A friend introduced me to them via an interactive version on his Kindle PaperWhite, but I couldnt locate an interactive version for a KindleFire or a computer. So I will continue to wear out both erasers and sheets of paper until I become as comfortable with them as I am with the ususal Sudoku puzzles. Thanks !
