Hey doc, I have just been introduced the the "drwho" tv show and I'm having a ball.

Great! Are you watching the new series, or the old classics?

The new series. I think the ones I'm watching are about 3 years old.

I have not seen many of the new ones. The old ones were for kids. The new ones seem to be more for the adult audience that has grown up with the kids show.

Some of the episodes are "Rose", "Aliens in London" etc.

Some of the special effects are great, and some are just funny.

In the "classic" series all the special effects were laughable.

If Netflix has them all, the BBC would like to know where they found them. Some of the old episode have been lost, presumably forever.

The show ran consecutive seasons from 1963 to 1986. That's a lot of episodes!

They have 178 discs, I don't know how many episodes that represents.

When they have to change the actor who plays the doctor, the doctor "regenerates". That is how he manages to stay young after 900 years.

Makes sense. When I get through with the ones I have I'll check out some of the older ones. Do they need to be watched in sequence?
