Actually, I now remeber the first CD I ever heard: Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart. It must have been in 1985, my father had bought his first (expensive) Sony CD player and he was given a couple of CD's with the player. Among them this one by Van Morrison. Now he hated popular music, so he had never listened to it, but I put it on and he actually said it wasn't bad...
