In the Xmas holiday of 1965 I played in a school chess tournament in Haarlem and I think I bought Rubber Soul during that tournament. It has a sticker from the record shop that was close to the tournament venue.
Also - it is the early mono pressing. The story is that EMI thought it was too loud, stopped the production and had the engineers make a "better" master. It certainly sounds different from the later CD versions.
