@911 there was lots of evidence in Januari. When the first case happened in S Korea and the US on Jan 20, Korea was completely prepared and the US was not.

The WHO provided strong warnings on the 5th and the 12th (about HtH transmission) The problem in the US was that nobody listened to those warnings. The genome was published around the 7th and both Korea and Germany had their first tests ready by Jan 12th and started mass producing them. Note that the first cases in Germany appeared end of Feb.

Fast clicker. The Medium move came early on, and it wasn't hard to see. Real easy after that. 10.

MrOoijer, there is evidence to suggest that there were cases in Florida in late December. No testing in Florida was done for 2 1/2 months even though testing was performed in my state.

Actually, one case, of a man admitted with flu, cleared up, they sent him home & sometime after that he went back in & that's when they discovered the covid virus.

The more frightening thing is that they've discovered a much milder form of this virus, which has made it's way around the globe, for most of last year. What we are seeing now is a deadly mutation of that initial virus. (Mutations can be good, or bad - in this case, it was bad, perhaps the next mutation will be kinder to us.)
