Not sure if I'm upset that GM pulled the pin on HOLDEN after taking over $2 billion in subsidies from our government. They made terrible choices in the last 10 years and think they're on the decline fast. Last Commodore V* rear wheel drive was the only decent car they'd made for a very long time. Toyota and Ford have smashed them for years, and they're really no match for Hyundai, Kia and the VW group. Maybe they're best retreating to the US market only.

I live in the MOST corrupt state EVER. These idiots now passed a tax on RAIN>

Is that CRAZY or what??? Sure, they call it 'Water Management Something or Other," but basically a tax on rain. Will also apply to churches. Taxed automatically, varies on your roof size & how much land you own - anywhere that rain falls. What a shot in the gut for farmers!!! People here are insane!

hk, are you trying to take us around the same block again, hoping we won't notice? If I recall correctly, the tax was going to be aimed at recovering the increased costs due to increases in rainwater runoff. In many areas, big increases in rainwater runoff due to new buildings and parking areas can make it necessary for local governments to install additional drainage or flood protection, and there seems to be some logic in having the property owners pay the costs. I believe the tax was not going to apply to all the land you own, just the impervious areas (buildings, paved parking, driveways, etc.). If the law as passed is different from that, I for one would be very interested. What state is this? New Jersey?
