Done, no greens. Only my second Hard done w/o greens.

Not terrible without them.

I still haven't done last Friday's. Sunday I made a guess. It was going so well I saved it as a new checkpoint when my wife made me quit. Now I find it was a bad guess and I've forgotten what my initial guess was. I'll have to start again.

Difficulty score 30. Like most hards here, naked and hidden pairs are the key.

The last 4 days there have been 2 hards and 2 mediums. By my scoring method, the mediums have been harder than the hards (38 and 32 vs. 29 and 30).

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but how do you score each puzzle with a difficulty rating?

I've gone to greens as well - I don't feel too bad though. :D It's moving along at a good rate so far.

Python and Matthew, both of you need to grow up. This is a site for sudoku, not immature chatter.

Using greens doesn't bother me so much. I mean, I still have to work out the logic. It's not like I'm guessing. It just helps me see a little more clearly. :)

and done - I'm not sure what, but something really opened it up. Not too bad for a hard.

I like to think the less greens I use the more I have learned. That and there is something zen like in the whole puzzle being black, white, and grey.

but using greens and reds can give things a Christmas-y feel! :D

LOL! It is too hot in Arizona to be even able to think about Christmas. But at least this one finally opened up.

Back to the expert from last Friday - didn't have time to finish that. Something has me stuck, and it's so green'd and red'd that you could use it as a Christmas decoration (I use reds sometimes to help me see things like pairs and stuff)

Last Friday still gives me a headache. I am going on vacation next week and I am thinking about trying to figure it out over that time. More time to do nothing.

So sorry, Rodeo. We lost ours and finally after a year, we knew we needed a new one.

Hodge (the cat) was a kitten when I took that last year. He now weighs 12 lbs and is very long. But he is still a gorgeous brown mackerel.

Yep, there sure are easy to miss. I have already been looking at the local shelter online and checking older ones out.

The shelter was great. Neutering is free there.

Finally I've done Friday's Expert. I had to guess. Just one good guess finishes it off.

Wow... I was stuck this morning. I just checked it and found a naked pair I missed. All done.

I messed up this morning and had to start over but I got it pretty easily tonight using greenies and a few guesses.
