Phil - The big problem is that this country is like a spoiled, greedy baby. Everyone believes they're perfectly safe, nothing bad will ever happen to them, and even though bad/worse things are increasingly obvious (homelessness, no jobs, out of control rents . . . ), people still turn a blind eye. There is a terrible vibe of "Not my problem," here in the US. Capitalism is a greed based economy. Until that changes, then money not only talks, but is the only 'thing' talking.

Sadly helenkeller, I think America has lost it's morality along with it's humanity. Hope it's not too late for the world as we love it.
