I never guess, I just give up. Its a puzzle with one solution, and if I can't get it I pass. There's always tomorrow. Today I admit I cheated. Reached a point with 42 unresolved squares out of 81 with one obvious naked pair. I assume this must be where everybody got tripped up. I thought I'd traced out the solution to the naked pair to the end so I entered it and ended with 3 unresolved squares - another naked pair and a single open square. Two of the three squares failed, lol. 78 squares resolved with three unresolved squares remaining - a Guiness Book first ... don't believe its possible to do this with less than three squares remaining. Greens, tarnished record and one humbled Guess later.

JACKT: Trust me,,, on a lot of Experts, the only solution is with one or more guesses or with computer asistance.

For some strange reason - I found that an easy - I used greens and everything fell into place. Maybe I put in a number that wasn't obvious without realizing it but that was the easiest expert I've done.
