Once I marked it, it was almost too easy. Seems easier than the usual medium. What did you say the avg. medium score was?

Average score for hard puzzles is 25.55. That includes today's puzzle, but excludes about the first month and a half of puzzles.

I will never understand those scores of yours :)

If you do this without green, the trick is to find the number in the upper right hand corner.

I like to proddle along until I solve it... only use greens when I get totally stuck.

dang, I've been searching for hidden pairs and I'm just not finding it. Sprite--do you have a clue for me?

I found a hidden triple when marking and that took care of it for me...didn't need to finish marking even

ah -- I think I found it...

Yup... I had a triple hidden in the lower middle box that had eluded my grasp, it all fell through after that.

i must be blind- cannot see a triple in that box!

I found 3 pairs in that box, that left only 1 candidate in the 7th empty cell.

well-- I don't really know terminology yet. so i ended up with two pairs here, and willmuddle along in my own weird, unweildy and time wasting fashion

I just persevere until I (hopefully) finish. So will someone please tell me, what are hidden pairs and hidden triples?

sorry, i'm not the best to explain... don't really understand myself... but if there are only two possible candidates in two cells of a row, column or box.. that is a hidden pair ( i think)
