@drWho - indeed, the American Go Association has a new analysis of an alphaGo self-plyed game evry Friday with interesting comments by Michael Redmond, the only USA pro 9 dan player.

I have been building neural nets since some months myself, so I just wondered. I found some lterature but nobody has as of now been able to build a perfect solver with NN.

Here is some code for Neural Nets and Sudoku. https://github.com/Kyubyong/sudoku

I haven't used it myself but it looks like it might be fun to play around with.

JudyHall, re being unable to use greens with your new Kindle keyboard, I was in a similar situation recently when I added a keyboard to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 nook. At first I thought the Shift-number combination did not work to enter a green, but then I realized I was doing it incorrectly because I was pressing Shift and the number key on the keypad, as I do when I am using my PC.
With a tablet, the correct technique is to press Shift and simultaneously touch the required number on the touch screen.
