Hi h, same here. Filled in 23. Went green. Got the first guess wrong. Completed it with the second guess. My first 5 points.

I wonder if there are any tips for an effective way to look for the key, other than a simple guess.

I just googled for the answer, and got to learn about x-wing, swordfish, xy-wing and conjugate chain ...

came together pretty easily with one lucky green. This was like a medium for this struggling sudokuer.

greens make it easier to solve the puzzle. If you hold down shift as you select a number it comes up as a small green number, you can use it to see what numbers are possible in each square. Same thing for red if you hold down red

For anyone out there like Krys10 who doesn't get XY-wings, don't bother. Learn the XY chain technique. The XY-wing is just a special case of the XY chain.
