I'm glad Hillary lost. The first woman president shouldn't be a criminal that had a FBI director document her crimes in a press conference only to not recommend prosecution.

Of course, the downside is Trump won. But both are populists, and I'd trust Trump more to avoid war (as would Jill Stein), if that's actually important to you.

Amazing that in the whole of the USA they couldn't find two better candidates!

As one of the deplorables, I am smugly happy that liar lost.

I love all the Trump supporters calling her a liar. So blind to their own candidate's faults. Her emails pale in comparison to the crap he's done.

I don't think I saw what was Medium about it. Just Easy. But a little slow in the middle. 16.

Well years of telling the American people a pack of lies very questionable morals and lack of compassion gets you voted into office as President in the USA. To those that lost, you need to take a good, long hard look at why you put up a candidate that was so despised in the country. The only real argument that Trump was right on was the corrupt system at the to of government and big business. All you had to do was come up with a candidate that would tackle those issues. It was clearly the most important one that troubled the American people. Yet you chose the candidate that eitomised what is wrong with American poitics. Spelt said it all, surely there were better candidates.

No, Phil, the people don't choose the candidates. It's the candidates who initiate the process themselves by deciding to run. There were therefore no better Democratic candidates than those who ran in the primary, of whom only Bernie Sanders had a reasonable chance besides Hillary.

Tall Mike, sad thing is, decent people don't generally do well in politics, even here in Aus, we have a superb Prime Minister who sadly is being dictated to by right wing out of touch self centred politicians in his own party. Still, at least we have 2 parties that are a lot more sensible. They still don't work together for the good of the people and that's the problem with politicians around the world. Hopefully people power with today's means of mobilising them will bring about change for the better.

Hillary lost. Misogyny, racism, bigotry, greed, bullying, arrogance won.

Hillary is lost. Mass murder, money laundering, treason, espionage, graft, grand theft, fraud, but hey, it's all okay, those are incidental and understandable because she's first and foremost a woman. I am in awe of her and her followers' nefarious accomplishments. You must be proud.
