what do you mean by "economic freedom"? Freedom to pay less than a living wage, or an honest days pay for an honest days work. "economic freedom" can mean a lot of different things.
freedom to choose where to invest one's labor or capital as one sees fit within a structure of legal activity.
drwho might see economic freedom as total privatization of the commons and all economic activity since the Government can't do anything right. I would see it as freedom to preserve the commons and that Government has a role in regulating commerce to protect the general public
I agree with that loni.
yet unlike, it is true. Certainly has reached the point in Perth.
Difficulty score 56. Need green to find 1 number and it was off to the races after that.
Ionibelle, I can agree with your last statement, but it is not what I said. I am arguing that economic freedom is necessary for political freedom. It is necessary, but not sufficient.
Tuco, monopolies have only 2 ways of squeezing out the competition. Provide a better value, or buy off politicians so they can use the force of government to squash the competition.
And I do believe government can do things well, but since government has a monopoly on the use of force, where is their incentive?
government can do things well??????????? I doubt that. and that would be what - Health care(no) SS(no) post office (no) border control (no) .......
the less government you have the better off we all are!
the only job our government has is keeping us safe- you think they do a good job of that?
It has a block pincer that got me going pretty well. But now I'm stuck again.
Okay, going again.
Another block pincer.
Did it, no green, no guess. I like those block pincers.
