You can blame the doctor if he prescribes smoking for nerves. It is a sociological fact that people in the lower economic rungs have more unprotected sex in lieu of entertainment and less disposable income for birth control therefore more pregnancies. Cutting sex education and limiting a womens choices exacerbates the problem. The system I am blaming is the one that unfairly benefits the super rich at the expense of the super poor and middle class. Pointing the finger of blame on those at the bottom is scapegoating to allow those in power to remain in power.

It is also ludicrous. History debunks it. Lets starve the poor and get rid of all regulation and cut taxes to the bone. All that does is put the fox in charge of the hen house and every time this happens we have a couple years of boom economy followed by a devastating downturn, followed by increased regulation followed by lobbying to remove regulation. It is a well worn cycle that needs to be broken. We have gone to the moon, cured polio, created more wealth per capita, and had a longer period of stable financial climate when the top marginal tax rate was 50%+ then at any time in our nations history. Privatizing the commons (Prisons, utilities, health care, schools, etc) just allows the privateers (pirates) to install a needless upper level of parasites to bleed the economy. They do not produce anything other than remove capital from the economy. Why do we need corporate boards that do not have labor representation sitting on them? Why have we cut taxes on UnEarned income? Why? Because the super rich want it that way. If you are fortunate enough to have a trust fund that affords you a 6 figure income or more per year you would definitely enjoy a cut in the capital gains tax plus you could afford to contribute to lobbyists to make it so. Also if you are a credit card company you can pay lobbyists to lobby state houses and Congress to repeal usury laws so that the share holders and board members can live their lavish life styles. Talk about immoral.
Exodus 22:25 - If thou lend money to [any of] my people [that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

Tuco, you claim we are all victims of the rich. But the only solution you offer is to substitute government for the rich. I would rather be the victim of the rich than a victim of the government. However, I choose not to be a victim.

But if it were not for the rich, how would any of the rest of us get rich?

I don't like your answer which is to have the government redistribute the wealth.

While we are quoting scripture try this one:

Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet...
