I have always thought that our native tribes should never be called American Indians. 1: they are geographically from nowhere near India. 2: The name America was coined by Martin Waldseemüller from Americus Vespucius, the Latinized version of the name of Amerigo Vespucci (1454–1512), the Italian explorer who mapped South America's east coast and the Caribbean Sea in the early 16th century.

So to refer to the native people with a term that has no meaning as to the reality of who they are delegitimizes them making it easier to see them as sub-human and therefore it is reasonable to steal their land and lives.

It is tragic when cops shoot anyone, justified or not. However it is inexcusable for the media to only focus on cops shooting blacks. Far more whites are shot by cops. Far more cops are shot by blacks. But all we hear from the media is when a cop shoot a black man. Seems like the media has an agenda, and its not a good one.
