Jerry, you have a far better chance of limiting opportunity if you have tight gun control. It does work and it needs to happen. By doing nothing you are effectively deciding that mass killings are acceptable.

I have been fighting the urge to respond. But I can't let this go any longer. The statement that when the left starts talking gun control gun sales go up as if talking about gun control is part of the problem of gun violence. Even if it is a fact that people start to buy more guns when gun control is discussed, so what? We shouldn't talk about it? Talk about it and do something. Don't intimate that we shouldn't discuss it because it will drive up sales.
