We've lost one of our own. Aldra/Aldra2 was a member here 2x. He was a good friend of mine IRL, and I turned him onto this site a couple of years ago. He was voracious, reached the expert level with his first login in very little time, and achieved quite a bit of success with his second login. The site was frequently a subject of discussion between us and a third friend who is also here. His death was sudden - sepsis. I'll miss him greatly, as will his wife, family and our IRL community, but I'm sure he's be playing Sudoku with the angels. If you're so inclined, please send prayers (of whatever variety) and good thoughts to his family.

Diane.. When did Aldra pass away? He introduced me to this site. He was a neighbor of mine growing up. So sorry to hear of his passing.

cher6 - it just happened this morning. Aldra(Dave) spiked a high temperature mid last week. Was hospitalized locally on Friday, then transported to Richmond. All of his organs shut down. It's a tragedy. Services will be in early June, TBD.
