Phil, as I've traveled this country, I was surprised to see how very much 'nothing' there is here too. We'll have to co-author a research paper - overlay the 2 countries, chart size, population density - cause I'm pretty sure we've got way more than 23 million. I should actually know better, having 2x worked the decennial US Census!
