tincup, I wasn't being snarky yesterday. I was expecting it to be harder for me because you had trouble with it, so I was surprised that I solved it more easily than I expected. I don't think I"m all that good at these, esp the experts.

I did the Feb 5th puzzle but cannot do the Feb 4th puzzle. have tried several times each day. Very frustrating.

Hey, I did the Feb 7 Expert no green, one lucky guess. This time I made my guess, not in a binary cell, but in a cell of five possibilities that was the intersection of two productive looking chains. It worked!
