What I called an "almost x-wing" in yesterday's puzzle, I think might better be called a Block Pincer. What it did, was focus two blockages against one block.

Both upper left and lower right had to be the same. And both put blockages against the block in lower left. One of the two numbers blocked out everything in that block. Therefore the other number was correct.
