I'm no expert so when I solve them there's something wrong somewhere, especially seeing how all the resident experts here struggled with yesterday's expert. 9th row hidden triple - no big deal but it solved for another number in the 9th row of numbers. Later reductions in columns 4 & 6 revealed 2 sets of naked pairs and one almost naked pair. Again, the recurring theme of the past few days demanded an assymetrical result. 3 sets of naked pairs related thru the same numbers results in two potential solutions and isolated from the rest of the puzzle and automatically invalid. After finding the assymetrical pattern that kept them tied into the whole puzzle (only one logical choice) the puzzle quickly resolved itself.

Hmmm...this one requires extensive use of the guardian angle and the unchained malady forcing the naked pairs to seek refuge in the unique rectangles.

So, be careful!

Unlike yesterday's, this one's attackable-looking spot proved fruitful: one long chain solved the whole puzzle.

Ah yes, be very careful. The format limits the length of discussion and, like I found with my last entry, can suddenly jump up and post what you're writing before you finish editing. You know what a horrible experience that can be. It requires an innovative approach. We need an IronSudoku shorthand. For instance instead of almost naked pairs instead we could say fig leafed. All suggestions welcomed.

Some pretty neat three layer tandem virtuals. (...which I'm sure Angie will take to be gobbledegook.)

I suppose we can employ acronymity here, ie three layer tandem virtual becomes TLTV. Oops, the phone. Hold on. Yes? Oxford's English Dictionary? Really? Hey, they say I just coined a new word! Acronymity. They're sending me a certificate in the mail!

On that note I think I'll go back to living in anonymosity.

Somebody always says he did it, no guesses. That makes me stare at it for hours and I usually never finish.
