anyone know why the 12/29 puzzle isn't available in the archives?

I was just about to ask the same thing..

i completed 12/29 and it shows up as (easy) done...

done - no guessing but lots of greens

I am completely stuck

ypsigirl--take a look at the second row from the bottom--if you've filled in everything correctly, this might get you home!!

when i hold down my shift to enter a possible number and it turns yellow and fills in the space does that mean it is correct,

Not necessarily, Patrillo.. that only means that the number you entered isn't in that row/column/box. This board doesn't really tell you if everything's correct until you finish.

Although, if you were holding down shift, you should have just gotten a little green number. Maybe your finger slipped or something?

Difficulty score 40. Requires hidden pair and naked pair analysis. I found this harder than yesterday's expert, but the program indicates more advanced techniques are required for yesterday's puzzle.

when the blocks turn grey after you enter a number what does that mean?

gray? mine stay white unless I have a wrong number entered...

except, when I enter a wrong number it goes pink

the gray are the numbers you start with

this puzzle is annoying :(
