Who's hot list is based on points earned for the previous 14 puzzles. Right now max score would be 33 (4 expert@ 5 + 1 hard@ 3 + i medium@ 2 and 8 easy@ 1 = 33) Sooooo yup can not possibly have 34, but my guess is that he/she will stay 1 point higher than everyone else for the next 12 days or so

Does seem to me it must be a glich in the scoring system.

And doing archives makes no difference to the hot list as i do about three or four a week.
