Question for anyone who wants to answer...Just noticed in the 'whos hot' that people who are in the 'Elite' list have 0035 yet there is one player who is not in the 'Elite' list who is on 0036...Can anyone explain what that is about...Just curious?

Could be that the hot list is made up of people who keep current on the last 35 games, and that the person with a number above that had also "caught up" by doing one s/he still had in the archives....

I think once upon a time I read somewhere that the hot list was composed of the people who had completed the most puzzles in the past week, or something like that. Now I can't find any explanation of the hot list, so I'm just as baffled as everyone else about the 36.

the hot list seems to be between 28 and 44 points so I would think it's closer to 2 weeks

The scores update an hour after the new puzzle is up so maybe they did the new puzzles during that hour and that's why they have a higher number.

Turn to the Rankings Page and on the left about the 3rd line down it says: View Rankings Explanations....hit on this and it will explain what they are....
