Every day I open the site and my desire to play the puzzle is deflated by yet the appearance of another easy...we need a month of experts or mediums before another cursed easy.

For those complaing about all the easys. Maybe Dr. God is trying to weed out the whiners.. hehe just kidding.

My theory is that after 6+ years, all the unique mediums and hards that can be generated with the current program have been exhausted. Luckily, I still have the archives to keep me busy.

Perhaps a new algorithm is needed -- for example, the puzzles don't have to be symmetrical. Or maybe recycle some of the old puzzles -- just change the numbers and flip or rotate. Anything would be better than so many easies in a row.

i don't think that can be true, because i've seen other sudoku websites with billions of puzzles of varying difficulty levels.

well okay if THIS site has a limited algorithm it could be true, but i don't see why it would have a different one than one which could generate all possible sudokus.
