BTW- It's not readily apparent, but if you hold down Shift when you hit the Enter/Return key, it will go to the next line rather than submitting your message.

Dr G, no. The space to the right of the grid is blank. When I enter a post, I have to open up the chatterbox display as a seperate window

Everyone's style is different. I'm a "flailer" myself.

mama, look for the number that is placed the most. For example, if there are six 4's in the grid, then you can eliminate all the areas that can't possibly have 4's, and probably therefore figure out where the other three go.

There is no way to clear the entire board. You'll just have to clear each square individually. :(

I think you have to think columns and rows of the total grid..... as a priority over the 3x3 (I think)

I startd with the 4's, then the ones, 2's, and six'es. I have those 4 numbers and I have the top row across and the very last bottom row across completed...... ??????

You know what would be nice? A feature that said "Erase all #'s (insert number of your choice).

If I leave the site and come back a while later, my chat log is almost always "stalled," and I have to refresh the page to get it to start updating again. Is this happening with anyone else?

Yeah. Something happens after a while that causes the communication with the server to stall. I'm not sure what is causing the problem yet. :(

I can't imagine playing this on paper. I would wear holes through it with an eraser.

whereas I will have an easier time on paper cos it is easier to make notes to myself

I have trouble visualising potential number positions while viewing the screen -- its a personal limitation -- on paper I can map the occupied rows and columns more easily

so it's either print the grid to work on it, or start writing on my monitor with water soluble markers :D
