once again I have no problem with the expert, but the medium yesterday killed me. I just don't get it.

I'm still working on this, but it does seem easier than yesterday's killer medium.

I thought yesterday's was pretty straightforward, actually... it required only one 3 to be reasoned out and all the rest fell in place. But this one isn't too hard either.

It had been a couple of weeks where I didn't need to guess ... but I needed to yesterday and today. (Yes, Sprite, I see that you say it can be reasoned out; and maybe one day I will be that bright).

One day, I'll be as quick at this as Penguin and Sprite :P

Sometimes I think these grids have a personality :) Some agree with me, some with you, and the rating doesn't seem to have any influence. I have done easies that I had to start over 3.

well I must be having a mental block day, I'm not finding tihs easy at all. Top left square filled and a a few others, but I don't see any way of continuing without a guess..

1st expert ever finished. It was really quite easy

according to sudoku solver a guess may be required. I had to make one guess to finish mine.

there is no guess required, it can be solved with a colouring technique (that is what I did)

what's the coloring technique?

thanks so much! I learn something new everyday! Lucky for me I made the right guess on the first try.

Kind of difficult to do colouring oinline,though! In the end that technique is really much the same as strategic guessing anyway.

I tried colouring once, I still haven't gotten al the crayon off my screen...

Finished. In all seriousness, the most complex technique I have mastered is the occasional isolated triplets. And I don't trust myself in thos very often.
