And speaking of patterns (hey, you like my segue?) I'm going through the archives and I have what may be a dumb question: Is there a bias towards easy and medium puzzles? They seem to make up well over half of at least the first few month's worth.

I suppose the easies and mediums just come up more often if the puzzles are more or less randomly generated.

I suppose, Unike. I would have assumed that a random distribution would have produced roughly equal amounts of the four difficulty levels, but clearly that doesn't happen.
