Just need to pay a bit of attention. After finding a triple you can detect the unique number and then just eliminate. With green.

hi fixing... green is like a pencilled in number that u put in by holding down your shift and the numbers you are not certain about, and they show up as tiny green numbers

Close, its 2 cells in a row, column or block that can only contain the same 2 numbers.

You described a hidden pair, because the way you described it, other numbers could also go in those 2 certain squares.

Yes!

I assume you know how to eliminate the 2 numbers of the naked pair from all the other cells in the row.

After you have done that look for virtual cross-hatching possibilities.

The virtual cross-hatching will involve 1 of the 2 numbers from the naked pair.

Dealing with the virtual cross hatching now

When you find the virtual cross-hatch that should reveal another naked pair. After that the puzzle becomes a medium.

I think we are approaching this by different paths. I don't have any more loners, so I'm just brute forcing it into submission.

That's what I did at first when I got stuck, but I screwed it up and had to start over .. The second time through it fell into place ..
